The Technical Committee TC 145, within the European Committee for Standardization (CEN), deals with the standardization of safety requirements for plastics and rubber machines. We list here below the Working Groups that belong to TC 145 with the updating of their activity.

				WG 1 = EN 201:2009  [Injection moulding machines]
				EN 201:2009 was published in the OJEU n. C 309 on 18.12.2009.

				WG 2 = EN 289:2004+A1:2008   [Presses]
				The standard EN 289:2004+A1:2008 was published in the OJEU n. C 214 on 8.9.2009. TC 145 decided through an enquiry per correspondence which expired on 21.9.2009 to revise EN 289:2004. On October 26, 2009 Mr Claudio Celata (UNI-ASSOCOMAPLAST) was appointed as WG 2 Convenor.

				WG 3 = EN 1114-1:1996  [Extruders and extrusion lines - Part 1: Extruders]
				EN 1114-1 was published in the OJEU n. C 141 on 8.5.1997. After the second review it has been decided to revise the standard. Bernd Nötel of NAM/DIN has been appointed as WG 3 Convenor. The formal vote on 29.12.2009 was negative and the draft standard has been stopped.

				WG 3 = EN 1114-2:1998+A1:2008   [Extruders and extrusion lines - Part 2: Die face pelletisers]
				The standard EN 1114-2:1998+A1:2008 was published in the OJEU n. C 214 on 8.9.2009. According to Resolution 1/2010 on 19.3.2010 an enquiry per correspondence concerning the proposal of withdrawal of the standard expires.

				WG 3 = EN 1114-3:2001+A1:2008  [Extruders and extrusion lines - Part 3: Haul-offs]
				The standard EN 1114-3:2001+A1:2008 was published in the OJEU n. C 214 on 8.9.2009. According to Resolution 1/2010 the standard will be revised in 2011.

				WG 4 = EN 1417:1996+A1:2008/AC:2009   [Two roll mills]
				The standard EN 1417:1996+A1:2008/AC:2009 was published in the OJEU n. C 214 on 8.9.2009. According to Resolution 1/2010 the standard will be revised in 2010.

				WG 5 = EN 422:2009   [Blow moulding machines ]
				EN 422:2009 was published in the OJEU n. C 214 on 8.9.2009.

				WG 6 = EN 12012-1:2007+A1:2008  [Size reduction machines - Part 1: Blade granulators]
				The standard EN 12012-1:2007+A1:2008 was published in the OJEU n. C 214 on 8.9.2009.

				WG 6 = EN 12012-2:2001+A2:2008  [Size reduction machines - Part 2: Strand pelletizers]
				The standard EN 12012-2:2001+A2:2008 was published in the OJEU n. C 214 on 8.9.2009. According to Resolution 1/2010 on 3.4.2010 an enquiry per correspondence concerning the proposal of withdrawal of the standard expires.

				WG 6 = EN 12012-3:2001+A1:2008  [Size reduction machines - Part 3: Shredders]
				The standard EN 12012-3:2001+A1:2008 was published in the OJEU n. C 214 on 8.9.2009. According to Resolution 1/2010 the standard will be revised in 2011.
